I can recieve e-mails but I can't send, why?
I can send e-mails to local users, xxxx@_my_own_domain_.com but
I can't send e-mails to any other network?
This is the most common e-mail question we get and the solution
is very simple!
In the recent years due to higly increasing SPAM, mail servers are
not allowed to relay e-mails unless you provide a password for verifying
that you actually have an account on that server. This is called
SMTP authentication. If SMTP authentication is not enabled you will
only be able to send e-mails to the accounts on the same mail server,
not outside. Please follow these instructions for Outlook Express
to see if you have SMTP authentication turned on. Most of the e-mail
clients have this setting in the account properties and look similar
to this example;
FROM TOOLS > ACCOUNTS >
SELECT YOUR ACCOUNT AND CLICK PROPERTIES

CLICK THE SERVERS TAB,
CHECK THE BOX "MY SERVER REQUIRES AUTHENTICATION"
AS SHOWN BELOW
